Troupis Winery is situated in the center of the Mantinea Plateau in the Fteri region, the heart of the homonymous wine-growing zone, at an altitude of approximately 700 m.

Moschofilero is considered one of the most important grape varieties in the Greek wine industry. In particular, it has been chosen as one of the four ambassador varieties of Greek wine abroad, alongside Assyrtiko, Xinomavro, and Agiorgitko.
